Speaker application deadline

Speaker applications must be submitted before 5 September 2021 by completing online form.

Evaluation of proposed presentations

Speaker applications are evaluated by the Forum’s program committee. Decisions are normally made within 5 business days after receiving applications. When considering proposals, numerous factors are taken into account e.g. relevance and informativeness of the presentation, its relevance to the themes of the Forum, etc

Presentation requirements

The working languages of the Forum are Russian and English. When preparing presentation materials, speakers can use either one or both languages. During the Forum, only one presentation file can be presented on the screens in PowerPoint (PPTX), Adobe Viewer (PDF) and Prezi (for online speakers) format.

Slides to be presented in Moscow must be submitted no later than 30 September as we require extra time to brief session moderators, interpreters and prepare Q&As.

Slides must be prepared in 16:9 aspect ratio, in PPT, PPTX, PDF or Prezi format (for online speakers) and submitted under Subject title: Slides for screen projection to slides@minexforum.com.

If the presentation file size exceeds 10 MB, please upload it to any cloud server (e.g., https://wetransfer.com) and email the link to slides@minexforum.com.

In cases when speakers cannot participate in the live event, they can pre-record and upload their presentation to YouTube or Vimeo and email the link to slides@minexforum.com.

In-person participation

Speakers presenting on behalf of commercial organisations and wishing to attend the Forum in person are expected to pay admission fee. Speakers representing exhibitors, sponsors, and partners, as well as speakers who have received a guest pass from the Forum secretariat, are exempt from paying the fee.

Online participation

Applications from speakers interested in presenting remotely are considered on case-by-case basis. For further information please email ru@minexforum.com.

Payment

Cashless payments in Russian rubbles are accepted by Promoexpo LLC. Payments in foreign currency are accepted by Advantix Ltd via bank transfer or credit card. Participants who did not register in advance can register and pay on the day by credit card, by completing registration form on the conference website (payments will be processed through Stripe or PayPal and collected by Advantix Ltd.).

Cancellation of participation

In case of cancellation up to 15 days prior to event, paid registration fee will be refunded minus 15% to cover administrative costs. In case of cancellation of participation less than 15 days before the start of the event, the registration fee is not refundable. Participants can be replaced at any time at no additional cost. All cancellations must be submitted to ru@minexforum.com.
